The conference proceedings will be published online in Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS) after peer review. JPCS is an open-access journal, in which all articles are free to read online and download. We only accept the papers, which were presented at the AIRAPT-22 & HPCJ-50 conference.

Important dates

The deadline for the manuscript submission has been extended to 15 August, 2009. Please notice that this is the FINAL deadline and no manuscript will be accepted after that.

Manuscript preparation
Please prepare your manuscript according to the guidelines found in the JPCS website.

The manuscript should be written in English and submitted as a PDF file. You can download the Word or LaTeX2e templates from the above website. Figures and tables should be included in the manuscript. Please convert your manuscript into a PDF file before submission. It is not necessary to send the original figure files separately. We are flexible to allow for small deviations in the manuscript style, but we strongly ask you to follow the reference style given in the template. This ensures that all the references will be properly linked on the web, of course, if their citation is correct. Although we will do minimum check of your manuscript, all the responsibility of the manuscript rests with the authors.
JPCS is an online journal, and hence there is no page limit for each article. However, we recommend you to keep the length of your manuscript within 4 pages for contributed papers, 6 pages for invited papers, and 8 pages for plenary lectures. You can freely use colors in your figures. You can also attach multimedia files (video, movie, animation, etc.) or PowerPoint files, if necessary. See the guidelines for more details.

Manuscript submission
We use the Editorial Manager (EM) for the submission, review, and editing processes. Please submit your manuscript through the dedicated website. Please note that you will need to register before you can submit a paper. After registering you will receive an e-mail with a username and password for the EM, so please keep this in a safe place. Since the editors will work with the EM, please be sure to upload the manuscript exclusively through the dedicated website. If you, for example, send the manuscript to the conference secretariat by e-mail, it will cause uncomfortable delay and confusion. Please do not submit multiple versions of your paper, because it causes a lot of extra work for the editors. If, for any reason, you need to upload a corrected or amended version of your paper please follow the instructions and guidelines on the home page of the Editorial Manager website.
We can require authors of all article types to suggest referees when they first submit their paper. We can ask for as many as you need but 2 is standard (1 is OK too). We will select a suitable referee from the list given by you or from our own database. Of course on submission of a revised paper authors are NOT requested to suggest referees. The deadline for the manuscript submission is 31 July, 2009.

Miscellaneous
No reprint service is available. We have no plan to publish additional printed or CD/DVD versions of the proceedings.

Copyright transfer
The copyright of the manuscript should be transferred to the Institute of Physics (IOP) prior to the online publication. The PDF file of the copyright agreement is included in the template package, which you download from the JPCS website. Please print out the form, fill in the required information, and sign the agreement. You can scan the signed copyright form, save it as a PDF file, then upload it through the submission website together with your manuscript. Alternatively you can send the signed copyright form to the conference secretariat by FAX or postal mail. In this case, please include the abstract number of your manuscript in the cover letter.
